Comfort Cases UKA child enters the UK care system every 15 minutes. Many arrive with no belongings, no notice, and no iea where they are going. Despite their trauma, the majority are still being handed bin bags to carry what little they have – a degrading, dehumanising practice that conveys a devastating message: You are not worth more than this. We work to replace bin bags with dignity. A Comfort Case tells a child - You Matter. You have been thought about. Once a week, once a month or once a year – your time is valuable and makes an impact!**_ We know from experience that many of you like to take a hands-on approach. From helping us with donation collections, sorting and packing items to go into our cases, sharing our mission with your friends and network, or running a regional hub to support children and young people in your local area – there are many ways to get involved with as little or as much time as you can give.
